In short

The bespoke process in plain English

The important point: you stay in control before anything is made.

Start

Begin with a conversation

Share the idea, budget, timeline and any images you have. We then guide the practical options.

Choose

Review stones and CAD clearly

You see certificates, measurements and design renders before production begins.

Approve

Nothing proceeds without sign-off

The stone, design and full price are confirmed in writing before your ring is made.

The process

Six steps from brief to finished ring

A clear, structured process with your approval at the centre. Nothing is made until you sign off the design and agree the price.

Step 1

Consultation

We discuss your idea, budget, timeline, and how the piece will be worn. Remote or in writing — whatever suits you.

1–2 days

Step 2

Stone Sourcing

We shortlist GIA or IGI certified diamonds or selected coloured gemstones matched precisely to your brief, with plain-language guidance on each option.

3–7 days

Step 3

Design Development

Proportions, setting height, comfort fit, and stone protection refined with you until the design is exactly right. Full CAD render provided for your review.

5–10 days

Step 4

Your Approval

You confirm the final CAD, stone selection, and agreed pricing before a single piece of metal is worked. Nothing moves forward without this.

Your call

Step 5

Production

Your ring is made by hand to the approved CAD specification. Setting security, stone alignment, and surface finish are checked at each stage.

3–4 weeks

Step 6

Inspection and Delivery

A final check on finish quality, claw integrity, stone security, and alignment before dispatch. Your ring arrives ready to wear, with aftercare guidance included.

Transparent pricing

Every piece inspected before dispatch

Each piece is checked for finish quality, stone alignment, and setting security before it leaves us.

Quality assured

Works completely remotely

Many clients commission bespoke pieces without visiting us in person. We keep everything clear with written options and CAD approvals.

Our process

How we help you choose online

Buying a diamond online without being able to see it in person requires a different kind of service. We share certificates, measurements and clear recommendations so the remote process feels considered, documented and easy to approve.

  • Sourced to order

We do not hold stock. Every diamond is sourced fresh for you from a network of trusted suppliers — which means access to a far wider selection than any single showroom could carry.

Once you choose a stone, we confirm availability and secure it before any work begins on your setting.

Selection Thousands of stones, filtered for you

  • Shortlisted with guidance

You receive a curated shortlist with GIA or IGI certificates, precise millimetre measurements, and plain-language notes on what each grade means for that specific shape and size.

We explain the trade-offs — size versus clarity, cut versus colour — so you can decide based on what you actually value, not just what looks good on a certificate.

Turnaround Shortlist within 1–2 business days

  • Checked for visibility and risk

Before anything is confirmed, we assess each shortlisted diamond for inclusions likely to be visible face-up, clouds that affect transparency, and durability concerns — particularly surface-reaching features in vulnerable positions.

If a stone is a poor bet at its price, we say so and recommend a better alternative.

    How we work

Our approach

Bespoke jewellery should be straightforward.

We make it accessible, we price it honestly, and we explain everything — before you commit to anything.

01

No minimum spend.

A clear idea and a realistic budget is all you need to start a conversation. Bespoke is a process, not a price point.

02

We do not work on commission.

Every stone and setting we recommend is chosen for you, not for our margin. We explain our reasoning so you can decide with confidence.

03

Nothing is made until you approve it.

Your design, your pricing, your sign-off — at every stage, before any cost is incurred. You stay in control throughout.

Pricing

This is not luxury for the few — this is bespoke for everyone

Bespoke does not have to mean inaccessible. Understanding what drives the cost of a piece helps you make decisions that suit your budget and get the result you want.

The Stone

The stone is the single largest variable in any commission. Carat weight, cut quality, colour grade, and rarity all move the cost significantly — and the same setting can look entirely different depending on what sits inside it.

Price influence

The Metal

Metal type and total weight both contribute. Platinum costs more than gold by weight and requires more labour to work. A pavé band uses more material than a plain polished shank — and that difference is reflected in the price.

Price influence

The Making

Setting complexity, hand engraving, and additional detail determine the labour cost. A plain solitaire and an elaborate halo with engraved shoulders require very different amounts of bench time.

Frequently asked questions

Fill in the short consultation questionnaire on our contact page. It covers style direction, budget, timeline, and priorities — so we can come back to you with relevant options from the first reply rather than asking the same questions over email.

Yes. We source diamonds with GIA or IGI certification so you have independent grading for cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight. We can explain what the certificate means for your specific stone and size.

Yes. We work across a wide range of budgets and will guide the trade-offs between carat, cut quality, colour, clarity, and setting complexity to get the best result within your number. We will always tell you if a choice does not make sense for value or durability.

We refine the design with you until it is right. There is no fixed revision limit — we do not move to production until you are satisfied with the CAD and have confirmed the final quote in writing.

Yes. Share the link or screenshots and we will assess the true specification, quality, and value of what you have seen — then advise whether a like-for-like recreation or a considered improvement is the better route.

Yes. The majority of our clients commission bespoke pieces entirely remotely. We keep everything clear with written stone options, CAD renders, and written confirmation at each stage before anything proceeds.

Most bespoke engagement rings take four to six weeks from approved design to delivery. The consultation and stone shortlist takes around one to two weeks. CAD design and approval takes one to two weeks. Production, setting, and finishing takes three to four weeks. If you have a specific deadline, tell us at the start and we will advise honestly on what is achievable.

Yes. We include written aftercare guidance with every piece. If resizing or servicing is needed after delivery, contact us and we will advise on the best route based on the design and setting style. Before production, our ring sizing guide can help you check measurements, compare international sizes and understand how band width affects fit.
