Start with a free consultation — no commitment required. We’ll talk through your brief, budget and timeline. Most clients come to us with a rough idea or a saved image. That’s enough. From there we handle stone sourcing, design and production. Most bespoke engagement rings are completed within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on the design, stone sourcing, revisions and production requirements.
Yes. Every diamond we source is independently certified by either the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the International Gemological Institute (IGI). The certificate details cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight. It is provided with the ring and is your permanent record of what you purchased.
Chemically and physically, they are identical. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond — not a simulant. The difference is origin: one formed underground over billions of years, the other grown in a controlled environment in weeks. Lab-grown diamonds typically cost 60–80% less than an equivalent natural stone. We present both options at every budget and give you an honest view on each.
Bespoke commissions start from £800. Most clients spend between £2,000 and £5,000. Every quote is itemised — stone, metal, setting, and craft — so you know exactly what you are paying for. No VAT is added, as À Vie Diamonds is not VAT registered. Contact us for a no-obligation quote based on your brief.
No. The entire process can be completed remotely. Consultations take place by video or phone. Design approvals are handled via CAD renders shared digitally. Finished rings are delivered by insured next-day courier with full documentation. Many of our clients are based across the UK and have never visited us in person.
