Email is the best channel for detailed enquiries, active commission questions, and anything that requires a written record. WhatsApp and Instagram DM are great for quick questions, sharing inspiration images, or an initial conversation before you're ready to submit a formal enquiry.
2. Starting a Commission
If you'd like to begin a bespoke commission, the easiest way is to fill in our enquiry form — it helps us understand your brief from the start so the first conversation is as useful as possible.
You'll be asked for:
– The type of piece you have in mind
– A rough budget range
– Any style preferences or inspiration you already have
– Your timeline — particularly if there is a specific date in mind
You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Most clients come to us at the early thinking stage — that's exactly what the consultation is for. There's no obligation and no payment until you're ready to proceed. Start your enquiry here.
3. Questions About an Active Commission
If you have a question about a commission already under way, please include your commission reference number (AV-XXXX) in all correspondence. This is on your Commission Agreement, invoice, and any email we've sent you regarding your order.
Email is the best channel for commission queries as it creates a clear written record for both sides. If something is time-sensitive — for example, you need to change a delivery address before dispatch — please call or WhatsApp us directly.
4. Complaints
If something has not gone as it should, please tell us. Write to enquiries@aviediamonds.com with your commission reference and a clear description of the issue. We will:
– Acknowledge your complaint within 3 business days
– Provide a full written response within 14 business days
– Work to resolve the matter fairly and without delay
If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, we will signpost you to an appropriate Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. You also have the right to contact Citizens Advice, Trading Standards, or the small claims court at any time — our complaint process does not affect those options.
5. Data Protection Enquiries
For Subject Access Requests, data deletion requests, or any other query about how we handle your personal information, please contact us at enquiries@aviediamonds.com and mark your message "Data Protection Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days in accordance with UK GDPR.
